St. Louis City criminal records are divided among several custodians. The Circuit Clerk holds filed court cases, the Division of Corrections keeps booking and custody records, SLMPD maintains police reports, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol CJIS Division operates the state repository and Missouri Sex Offender Registry. This private resource organizes those official routes so readers can identify the proper portal, counter, or telephone contact without confusing the independent City with St. Louis County.

Why We Built This Site

Missouri offers several public access routes, but none is a complete St. Louis City history by itself. The City Division of Corrections, rather than the Sheriff, runs the City Justice Center and its inmate locator. The 22nd Judicial Circuit Clerk records filed charges and dispositions, while the Missouri State Highway Patrol CJIS Division maintains statewide criminal-history data through MACHS.
